We’re so close to having new music from Taylor Swift. Her upcoming album, Midnights, her tenth, drops at midnight on October 21st.
There have been small clues here and there about the album - Lana Del Ray is a confirmed featured artist, while Jack Antonoff collaborated on the songwriting and production. The latest info this week is that she’s written songs with Zoe Kravitz and Jahaan Sweet (who has worked with Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar), among others.
In preparation for her new music, I could have thrown together a best-of mixtape of Taylor’s greatest and/or deepest cuts to satisfy any Swifty…But that would be too easy.
So instead, I dug through catalogs of songs to find thirteen great covers of Taylor’s songs. Entitled simply Swiftly Covered, I hope you enjoy the wide variety of styles and songs.
