MLK

Darkness cannot drive out darkness;

Only light can do that.

Hate cannot drive out hate;

Only love can do that.

Normally on Mondays, I’ll write about a CD that I dig out of a bin under my bed. Today’s different. Today we celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr. However we do that - through volunteering or reflection. Through listening to some of Dr. King’s most famous speeches or listening to music that was inspired by Dr. King.

That’s where I come in - This was a special one to research. There are clearly ones that are written specifically about him. Some are inspired by his words, his actions and his beliefs.

If you can, take some time to listen to the powerful songs here. Here is the mixtape, "MLK Day".
