Rain – whatever your opinion on it – has made its presence felt in the DC area lately with more to pop up as we head into summer.
So if you’re a fan or if it drives you crazy, we can all agree that it’s a classic theme for songs.
Some are about actual rain while some are simply a metaphor for something bigger.
The point is – we’re in need of a rain mixtape.
Here it is – The tracks were picked from favorites and songs I hadn’t thought of in a while. Classics like “Rainy Days and Mondays” by The Carpenters and not-so classics like “Blame It On the Rain” by phony baloney’s Milli Vanilli. Hope you find something you like and if you’ve got a favorite I’ve missed, leave a note in the comments.
