You may find yourself, living in a pandemic. And you may find yourself listening to a lot of music. And you may find yourself wanting to tell people about great music.

So here we are, Dave's Mixtape. And while nobody truly listens to cassette tapes anymore, the playlist is still alive and well in streaming and subscription based services.

The beauty of creating a playlist is the process. What's your mood? What's the situation? You can't peak too early with a playlist or you'll lose interest. And while mixtapes can be very personal, you want to share them with friends.

My goal and hope is that I can introduce you to new music and genres that you hadn't thought of in a while, if ever. It's a chance to discover and be inspired by music. Take the music here and create a playlist.

As Frank Zappa once said, "Without music to decorate it, time is just a bunch of boring production deadlines or dates by which bills must be paid."
